Sam Mihara, Heart Mountain story

Sam Mihara is coming to a town near you!

Wyoming Humanities is honored to present "Personal Stories of Imprisonment" from Sam Mihara, survivor of the Heart Mountain internment camp. Mihara will talk about his personal experience of being a child prisoner of the government, using photos that reveal the conditions at the prison camps.

"Most people have not been taught the actual history of this tragedy against a single race,” Mihara shared. “That history must be revealed so such injustice will never happen again."
