***CREATE YOUR OWN SERIES***

Mix and match four books from the list of series above to create your own series. The series must have a justifiable theme, i.e. New Mexico (Death Comes for the Archbishop, Bless Me Ultima, House of Houses, House Made of Dawn).

How book series are created:  Many of the book series originate in conjunction with a NEH initiative.  In the case of Muslim Journeys, WHC received a grant from NEH for Muslim Journeys and as part of that grant, a book series was created.  In this case, the books were part of a larger programming menu.  In the case of Journey Stories, WHC wanted to create a book series around the most recent Museums on Mainstreet event so we asked several humanities scholars to suggest & then recommend a series of books related to “journeys”.   That being said, we would love to hear your suggestions – fully realizing that we might not be able to immediately act upon that suggestion.  If you have an idea for a series (book titles included), please send your suggestions including rationale for the humanities content of the series to Leslie at leslie@thinkwy.org.
